Health Care: A Human Right or a Profit Center??

Access to affordable healthcare in the U.S. is uncertain even for those who assume they are “well-insured”. For tens of millions, only emergency care is available. Unnecessary deaths, suffering from progressive diseases, and bankruptcies are an American disgrace. Other high-income countries guarantee affordable care.

From the Affordable Care Act to Single-Payer – learn about the paths forward.

Health Care Right or Profit?

Welcome to Indivisible South Suburban Chicago!

Welcome to Indivisible South Suburban Chicago’s website.

We are glad you came.  We’re glad you are interested in engaging the political system in a positive and peaceful, yet powerful way.  Our website is pretty new, we are learning as we go.

In case you didn’t know, “Indivisible” got started in the wake of the United State’s Presidential Election on November 8th, 2016.  It was a shock to the system.  A group of Congressional Staff apparatchik’s decided to compile an “Operator’s Manual” for our American Democracy.  The “Indivisible Guide” lays out clear steps that ordinary Americans can take to influence our elected officials: calling your Senators, Congresspersons, state and local.  Showing up, and even creating your own congressional forums to demand that our government (Fed and State) do what “We the People” demand.

So we hope that you will join in with us, in our effort to set our ship of state back onto a normal, responsible, middle-of-the-road, patriotic American path.
